The Lauderdale County Forestry Association (LCFA) will be sponsoring a Mixed-Stand Management Workshop on Thursday, September 12th, at the East Mississippi Electric Power Association Auditorium from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. There will be several Extension/Research Specialists from Mississippi State, Lousiana State University and Auburn University presenting the following topics.
- Mixed-Stand Biology, Mixed-Stand Silviculture, Economic Opportunities provided by Mixed-Stands, Mixed-Stand Risk Avoidance.
- Mixed-Stands = Stands managed equally for pines and hardwoods.
The cost for the workshop is $15. Please call the Extension Office at 601-482-9764 by Friday, September 6th to reserve your spot. Professionals will receive 3 Hours of Category A BORF CFEs for the workshop.
A box lunch will be served.
